So... What would be your Dream Companion in Skyrim?

A dog. A really, really fucking cool dog. Like Dogmeat (am I the only one who's dogmeat seems to be a superhero in his spare time?), but he actually walks beside you instead of waiting until you get out of range, then running a bit into range, etc.

This creepy sonofabitch. Just so I could run into an area full of high level enemies (hopefully dragons and such) and tell him to wait there, or attack.

You know, come to think of it I never used companions in Fallout 3.

Probably because I remember how terrible it was trying to walk anywhere with an Oblivion companion. In my first playthrough I did not know about the fast travel system, instead escorting the Wonder Twins (Martin and Jauffre) to Cloud Ruler Temple on horse. They would often aggro some monster off on the horizon and disappear, later coming back without horses.

The idea of traversing a cave and managing to break open a section only to find a trapped baby dragon whom would take to you and follow you around sounds pretty awesome.

My own pet/friend dragon. Doesn't have to be a big one maybe just be young one that can't fly properly or something which is the reason why it follows you.

Also a Daedra could be pretty awesome. One that could talk about it's life in Oblivion and why it's not evil anymore or because your character is more evil. Either an Atronach, one of the darth maul people or heck, I'd love to have one of the giant crocs following me.

A dragon would be the coolest and should be available to those people who don't want to do much fighting but just explore a fantasy world.
It would be fun watching him squeeze through tight dungeons.

OT:
Even if there will be potential companions in Skyrim, I won't use them. I loved being on my own in Morrowind and Oblivion. When I played Fallout 3, though, I found Fawkes and thought he was awesome. Then, after a while I realized I was using him as an indestructible tank and crutch in every battle and stopped enjoying the game. Even if I went out on my own, I was so use to his assistance that I was viewing every battle as an annoyance than as a legitimate threat in that lonely wasteland.
