Due to my admiration towards the ethical philosophy of Levinas I almost always choose the good side. (Look up his name if you don't know who it is. His philosophy is really great.)
But I don't like beeing irrational good. Sometimes a good action can lead to a greater evil. In cses where it's a plausible outcome I act evil to stop the evil.
