Born in London, England. Lived in Britain for 15 years, then moved to America. I didn't even keep my British accent. Also, my parents are American and Canadian.

I live in Rockwall, which is a suburb of Dallas. It's a pretty good town, its close enough that I can enjoy the sights and cuisine of Dallas, but I don't have to deal with the crime in Dallas.
Dude, small world. I'm currently in Sachse, TX. Just moved here a little while ago, I'm surprised to find that most stereotypes about Texas aren't true (or at least, they're only true of the western half of the state).

Originally from New York, NY, so I guess it is a bit different...

I'm from Chihuahua, Mexico, and over here at least 6 persons die per day. It's very scary to go out, but other than that...

What is it about Americans only stating their town and state, never their country?

There are other countries besides the U.S. of A!

I live in the most isolated city in the world: Perth, Australia. It rocks!

Ooh! I used to be one too! Not anymore, though. I lived on Bainbridge Island, in Pudget Sound, which sucked. That's rich person land, and I advise you to stay away from it.

I currently live somewhere in Oregon. (Not telling the internet where, though.) It's a little like living in Washington, except a few degrees warmer. And no Seattle. Meh. Also, no sales tax!

Funny story: my band took a field trip to Seattle, and all of the Oregon-raised kids freaked out about the sales tax. They would go to buy something and then upon seeing the receipt, say "Ooooh....sales tax...that's right." (The salespeople were very nice about that, though.)

Trust me, the bikers are worse. (If we're talking about the same city.) They think they own the roads simply because Portland is well known for being a bike-friendly city. Not enjoyable for those who drive.

Dang...extremely sorry for this post, meant to edit it into my first one. *bashes head in with log from pine tree* Oregon spirit!!!

Ohio.

hey, at least it's not Canada.

Anyway, I'm from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, which is one of the better-known cities in the country I guess. I'm not a fan of the whole cowboy/western theme, but it's been slowly dying away in recent years, which is nice.
