Well, I've just gotten home from Knebworth, having lost my voice yet gained a hangover. Any other 'scapists go? Favourite/least favourite bands of the weekend? Brilliant moments of tomfoolery? Catch any of the Bat Sabbath set?

Personally I had to begrudgingly accept that Slipknot were the best show. The big four were awesome, especially Metallica, but it couldn't match the atmosphere Slipknot had. Aside from that I really enjoyed Black Spiders, Opeth, Parkway Drive, Gallows, Mars Volta and of course, Bill Bailey. The only band I thoroughly disliked was Black Tide, whose set contained only one of their good old songs and were incredibly disappointing with their bland new stuff. As for some brilliant moments, one of my friends got hit by part of Slipknot's pyro, and we spent last night running around the campsite screaming 'YOU'RE ANTI! YOU'RE ANTISOCIAL!!!' at people. I'm sorry.

Took me 9 hours to get back from Knebworth today... thank god for alcohol and certain other substances that help such travels go by so much smoother :3

I actually opted to miss Slayer so I could catch Protest The Hero play their set on the Redbull stage, best choice I made all weekend, they were incredible.

I also missed Biffy as my girlfriend drank way too much Vodka and ended up passing out in my tent xD but as much as I didn't care for them, what I could hear from the campsite was ctually pretty good.

Airbourne were incredible, so were Limp Bizkit.

The ending to Slipknot was incredibly sad and I was incredibly drunk, it was a touching moment.

Random tomfoolery? Up until 3 in the morning consuming large amounts of alcohol and other such things and then completely passing out in my tent and missing the train we had booked home :3

Sounds like a crazy night of fun and intoxicating substances. Too bad I don't live in the UK.
