Because I was bored and ended up looking through the current licensees on the Middle-Earth Enterprises site, and right there at the bottom is the familiar EA logo. Now, I fully admit to not knowing how this all works, but since it say's current, I'm assuming that means EA currently has the license for something. Those of you who played BFME may have realized that the official servers went down due to EA's licenses running out, so why would they buy them back?
It's a bit of a long shot, and a quick look shows that the BFME2 series was licensed through New Line Cinemas. But hey, I can still hope.
Otherwise, you can use this thread to try and predict what EA's doing with a LotR License.
