There is no word. However, I can assume that first...they would need a load of ideas on what to drop next and their repertoire so far is pretty extensive.

After the pudding-filled condom, is there any point in continuing it?

We've already seen the best it's gonna get. It'd be all downhill from here.

I never really understood the point to that show. All they did was drop stuff. I could do that myself if I wanted to. I didn't need to watch someone else do it.

Man, I hope not. It was interesting for like, the first few episodes and then I was like "hang on, this is getting old".

Well, I'm guessing you don't have an expensive high speed camera to film it with...

...but yeah, you're right it was a pretty pointless show. If I wanted to watch good high speed camera footage, I'd go watch the Slow Motion Guys on Youtube. Daily Drop just lacked the production value. It won't be missed.

However, I sure wish someone would have responded to my suggestion that the Escapist podcast actually give us updates on what's happening in their series so we don't have to scour the forums just to get a vaguely plausible answer. I don't really know why it should be a secret, just mention any updates quickly and move on.

The thing is there is a lot of planning that needs to go into it. Very little of the production time is the actual drop. If you watch the Behind the Scenes video you realize that Daily Drop was actually quite time consuming. The first step would be to compile a list of things to drop. Then it would be acquiring these things. Here's a good reminder: a high speed camera is very expensive to rent or buy. To make the fullest use of that, the entire team basically needs to be devoted to hammering (crow-baring?) out the drop videos for however long they would rent it (last time was a week). I think they got 165 episodes, plus all of the stuff they didn't put into an episode. Taking that into consideration: they need at least that many original ideas, and they do a lot of other stuff. They do LRR, Checkpoint, Phailhause, Unskippable, etc. I would imagine it would be hard to fit Daily Drop into that schedule again >.>

But could you do it really slowly?
