i've been thinking about attempting an experiment that i came up with. The rule is that you must set aside any moral code, religious belief, and every law and rule you find. And of course do things that you would normally NEVER do. Like going to a neighbors house, throw an aggetated cat into their face, spray them with a hose, and then run away, naked, liked a madman, or something like that. You must also do WHATEVER YOU WANT... no seriously. It's like being a chaotic neutral in D&D. The purpose is to see what happens when you apply your OWN values ahead of others and forget the absolutly absurd terms of good and evil which(in my view) holds you back. there are consequences, im sure, but that's why it's an experiment. thank you for reading and all opinions are helpful.

The repercussions to you of attempting this in a society who holds tightly on to the morals that you are shrugging aside would be huge. You would suffer much for putting yourself first and doing whatever the hell you like.

You could do it, but people would either die, or get hurt.

Also you'd have to secure an area away from the police and general public in order to perform this experiment.

The initial post talks about doing whatever I want. But what I might impulivly want to do, and what I with a bit more consideration actaully want are often different. Again from the first post, if I at the moment feel like acting insane and assulting my neighbor with a cat and a water hose, I will most likely be locked up, either in some asylum or for the crime of destrying someone face with a cat. Considering consequences I realize that it is more likely that not throwing a cat at my neighbor will lead to something I want.

Acting extremely impulsive and acting towards what I want are not the same thing.
