SOCOM: Confrontation (PS3). Good or bad?

I've been thinking about getting this game and I've been looking around the internet for reviews, and I've seen that there's some people who LOVE it and some who absolutely loath it, so I can't tell whether or not it's a good game.

Is there anyone here who has this game (and plays it quite often) who can give me an honest opinion as to what it's like? Would you recommend it? I like shooters like CoD but I also like more tactical, hardcore-style (e.g. no Juggernaught noobs) shooters.

If you love tactical shooters, you will feel right at home.
If you don't, loathe, for you will be pwned to no end.

Overall, yes. I recommend it.

Just don't, I Repeat, DONT play this like COD.
The people who do that get owned, and then promptly, ridiculed... usually by me.
