Battlefield - How about a no LMG playlist? I swear, every single game I ever played on BFBC2 almost everyone was whoring LMG's the fact that an LMG can out shoot a person with a sniper rifle across the map, the fact assault rifles cannot to jack-shiz against the LMG class is actually unbearable... I sold my game due to the fact that the LMG runs the game and I kept on getting the two same retarded maps, the map where you paradrop into a snowy village at night next to two rivers and the one near the dam.
Solution for too many online snipers.

It's a big problem when it comes to pub gaming. I know it's a lot harder to get groups together in console games, but for the pc I've found it easy to find a clan or group of friends that work together to get things done.
I don't see the point in everyone bitching about all the other classes. People will do what they want. As the saying goes, "All's fair in love and war." If you don't like what other people are doing, don't whine, just don't play. Simple as that.

This idea sounds stupid. What about those in the group who are only really good with snipers? Every online shooter I've played, I'm typically the only one crazy enough to pick up the thing and use it effectively.
My problem with snipers (in Bad Company 2 and videogames in general) is not those guys on the other team trying to kill me (and failing). No, my problem are those idiots on MY TEAM who think they are "elite" but are really not and are draging the team down by not going after/protecting the objectives!

i think the reason why ppl hate snipers is because, there was no warning or anything that they were being watched and lined up for a snipe. for example ur playin bc2 ur just happily walking along la la la la la la... then POW ur DEAD. no warning no nothing. and thats y ppl have a problem with snipers. with other fire fights u see ur opponent and more or less ahead of time ull know if ur dead or not.

The only game that I have realy had a problem with snipers is in MW2. Too amny ways to get past the snipers weakness to create a super weapon

Snipers have never been that much of a problem to me. Then again I know better to stay away from their line of sight, give them the respect they deserve and you'll be likely to survive. And then circle around to their backside and slice those motherfuckers if they're being a pest.
I will admit though, that in MW2 those intervention guys (you know, the funny ones that come up close and quickscope you) are a menace sometimes. Everyone wants to be a fucking sniper in that game so some matches are just ruined by default. Ghillie suited happy campers taking potshots at each other. And there's nothing you can do about it. As soon as you pop out for a second to take a breezer, you get a .50 in the forehead.
But you're still just being a tourneyfag. You can't just remove a weapon or a game-element because you don't like it. But, a separate PLAYLIST with no snipeywepons would be okay. But who would play that? NO INTERVENSHUN!?!?
