New Karnivool album released today. 13 year wait. Imo worth it tho, unlike another band I like where I feel it wasn't.
A perfectly crafted piece of EDM, the more i listen to other music tracks the more I appreciate this one for doing what it does

This is a remix of a track by Another Electronic Musician (yes, that's his moniker) as composed by one of my favorite artists, Near The Parenthesis (yes, also his moniker.) NTP is known for his ethereal, wistful and dreamlike compositions. Achingly beautiful and off-beat stuff. I often wonder how his mind works, like, I can't imagine a guy like this grocery shopping, paying taxes, filling up at the pump, y'know all the menial stuff a brilliant mind like this shouldn't be bothered with.

It's 2010, I'm new to Texas, she's new to Texas, and we're driving at night on the way back to her place. This song comes up on my shuffle, and while I thought she was sleeping, she says out of nowhere "this is really pretty." Instantly became "her" song for me. It's been 16 years, and I still can't hear this song and not think of that drive or her.
