Going through a Plastikman phase for the first time in about 20 years. Minimalist "techno" (I hate that word) that just worms its way into your head and lives there rent free as you unwittingly bop your head and hum to yourself for days at a time. Good for meditation or at least vegetating. Never done psychedelic drugs before, but I imagine listening to Plastikman while on a trip would be... interesting.

Went to a local 3 dayer over the weekend for my partner's birthday. Not the greatest sound quality

Nice, like early Orb or Orbital. Not one bit of info about them I can find online except that they played at the festival. I should have asked the blokes a bit more when I spoke to them after.

It's a RAtM tribute band, except fronted by a Nick Cage impersonator. They also covered Bob Dylan's "Maggies Farm".

I forgot how good of a singer Skin from Skunk Anansie is. Also covered AC/DC Highway to Hell. Great.

Not sure which version is the "first" version of the song, but from the comments on the second one listed:

First "You" : Beginning of a relationship

2nd " You" : The end of a relationship, looking back ,reminiscing...

I agree. I was sent this song (1st version) by an ex-girlfriend a long time ago, loved it, played it constantly. Fast forward some time, I'm in the car with that girlfriend and this song comes on. I turned it up thinking she'd recognize it, and she had no idea what I was talking about; she liked the song, but had never heard it before. I told her she sent it to me, and she pulled up on her phone and found what she sent me which was the 2nd version, a version I'd never heard before. Apparently, something was lost in the translation, and her link directed me to the alternate version, but when I hear either one today, there's a little heartache there. Two versions of the same song that reminded of us of each other, and neither of us was hearing the same music.
