1.Is the internet browser fast and reliable on a fast wireless conncection

2.Can it play games like Fruit Ninja and Cut the rope ect

3.Are the previous generation ipods before the 4G still on sale cos i dont want to accidentally buy a previous model

4.Is it worth it or should I save for awhile longer for the Iphone (I dont really care about making calls and stuff because I have a cell for that i just wanna listen to music play games ect and maybe take a few photos)

1. Depends on your connection. The browser itself is pretty alright, though I haven't used it much so I couldn't say for sure.

2. It can run all the same apps the iPhone can run

3. Just check the labels and you should be fine.

4. There is no difference between the iPhone and iTouch except for the calling and data plan features. If you don't use those anyway, iTouch is a dead obvious choice.

1. A touch slower then i would like but pretty good.

2. Yes. Buy them from itunes, the page for each game says which devices it runs on.

3 Most places no. A few walmarts and such might have the old, but any electronics store worth their salt has the newest out for display. Just ask for latest if you're really worried.

4. Nope. Calls and stuff are the only thing the iPhone has over the iPod touch. Though iPhone has 3g for internet everywhere, but you have to pay out the nose monthly.

You're welcome.

I can answer you questions young one:

1)The internet is about average (on a good connection). It definitely won't replace a computer, but it can browse the web just fine.

2) Yes it can play both, but you need to buy them first :p

3)No they are not on sale and besides, you can tell which ones are the 4th generation iPods because they have a camera.

4)Er well considering you need a cellphone plan to get an iPhone 4...I would say no.
It would cost more in the long run and all you really get is the ability to make calls (and have internet in more places than before).

If all you want to do is play music, a few games, and take a few photos, then just get the iPod Touch.

The internet browser uses the WebKit rendering engine, the exact same one as in Google Chrome and Safari on the PC. The browser is the best on any mobile device right now, but only just, as the Android browser is verry close. In terms of displaying webpages, it's perfect, the only two negatives are the lack of flash support (though it can still play youtube videos), and the small screen, which isn't actually as awkward to use as you might think, especially with the new model's retina display.
