Some small time advice.

The question is, should I cut my hair? This isn't just that simple. I have at the bare minimum, at least a foot and a half worth of hair. It goes down half way my back. Maybe more. This hair pretty much represents my individualty. This hair has givin me a tiny militia's worth of friends. But I fear my hair is the only reason I have friends(Not saying the only thing iteresting about me is my friggin hair). Likewise, girls keep saying that they would date me if I cut it. I have never had a girlfriend in my life. What do you guy's say? Should I cut it off, or keep it on to represent my indidualty?

I suggest you cut it gradually. From personal experience it turned out well. I used to have hair like Geddy Lee (oh my goodness my drivers licence photo from when I was 16 is scary to look back upon!), and now I've worked it down to a pretty manageable length ^^ (EDIT: Fairly recent picture is in my profile if you're curious about my hair length)

I find it hard to believe that it's your hair that makes you who you are. You undoubtedly have other qualities that make you unique, and as for the friends, I've never met anyone who was friends based only on hair style.

Though, if you cut it and you GAINED friends, wouldn't that be the same thing in reverse? Having friends based on your hair? Bleh, having friends based on your current hair style seems wacky, but maybe I'm over-thinking things :|

I used to have long hair, like down to the middle of my back long, and I was always so hesitant to cut it. But when I finally cut it off I was so glad it was gone. Short hair is so much easier to take care of, people don't think you're a druggie all the time, and when you get rid of that crutch you realize that you don't need it to be an individual.

Cut your hair, it'll be a weight off your shoulders.
