OK that does look better than the first one by far. The first one left me very jaded though. Probably one of the only games I have played that I was just absolutely disgusted with. It was just so damned bad no words can convey my feelings for it.
Can I ask particularly what was wrong with it? I really enjoyed it myself, and I'd just like another opinion
I played the 360 version, but I hear the PC version suffered with pretty much the same faults:
- Poor graphcs / animations
- Awful voice acting
- Terrible storyline
- Combat system unbalanced
- Your character said lines such as "bandits" without context (i.e they might say such as line when fighting the main boss)
- Mediocre art design
- Skill-system that didn't really work
- Inventory screen poorly designed
- Terrible mini-map
- Poor frame-rate (not sure about PC version) that crashed the game on the 360 version.
There were just so many appalling errors in the game it was ridiculous...the presentation in particular (such as enemy life-bar) were mediocre to the point - as Ghostwise stated - it looked like an indie game.
That's...simply not true, as far as I know it's still being developed by Reality Pump.
Ah, you're right; I got confused because sometimes the development team is referred to as Topware; other-times Reality Pump, because they're an in-house studio for Topware.
