Someone calls you 'gay' as an insult, what's your response/thoughts?

So in critique of the comic strip, the art was good, but the joke too specific, and too wordy.

No, it's an old strip (from like, March) Thank you for the critique either way, but the actual point to the thread was the 'using gay as an insult and your ways to combat it' subject.

The comic was pretty much to help explain why the argument I was having with the individual was stupid.

My responce to being called gay? Come onto them of course, in all my heterosexual tenacity.

Wow that was long build up to a question. No it wouldn't bother me, there's far more insulting things to be called, they're not swearing at me and I often think I wouldn't mind being gay. I made out with a guy once when we were both very drunk and I had smoked what felt like a carton of cigarettes leaving me very light headed.

It's best to ignore bro. Try to keep the chat rational, and if it derails to insults, then its too late, the full moon has come out, and the person you were talking to has become a troll.

I used to do the same thing, in fact last year I would get drunk and make out with every male friend I have... I stopped doing it some time after and have not kissed a guy since.

I'm comfortably aware of what Youtube is like, like I said in my post I try to avoid commenting over there.

I just like to discuss things with groups of people, this recently happened, felt like a good fit.

I'm curious to know what people's thoughts are on the subject, so I posted a thread.

If it's over the internet then I just ask them if they have anything original to else to insult me with. I realy don't take offense if I am called gay and I really don't have a problem with gay people. If someone actually says that to my face, I just smack them in the back of their head

Specifically being called gay would just make me happy, because "gay" is my girlfriend's favourite word and it would make me think of her. If his main insult is your gay (which makes no sense as I don't own a gay, unless he meant you're gay...in which case he is wrong) then any retaliation will probably result in..."yeah, well, your mum!"
