Has there ever been a moment in gaming where you think to yourself, "this music doesn't fit the idea of the game AT ALL?" My example of this is a Sega CD game called Road Avengers. Bear with me, I studied music for a couple years in college. lol

The song overall is amazing, and I really like it. But the story behind Road Avengers is that the main character just got married, and this gang that has been terrorizing the town you live in forces his car off the road and his wife dies in the explosion. So, the hero of the story drives his second car (which, strangely, is exactly the same model as his first....) in search of revenge against the gang. If you watch the intro video where the song is playing, the hero has three distinct moods that go on - joy of his marriage, sorrow for love lost, and then anger as he plots his revenge. However, the song (and mind you, I still do say it's a GOOD song) only has an inspirational theme...like, it almost seems happy when his wife dies. It just doesn't seem to gel with the idea of the game. Here's a link to the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S26317my3CQ

Has anyone else had something like this in a game?
