I'd have to go with MGS4 to, but for me it was the "nanomachines are behind everything" plot twist: "All that cool mystical stuff from MGS1 with Vulcan Raven and Psycho Mantis wasn't anything mysterious and awesome, it was ALL nanomachines."

Fuck you Kojima, for pulling that George Lucas shit on us!

NO no no Psycho mantis Really was psychic, its only in the last one that they fuck him over like lucas fucked Yoda.
the same can be said for vulcan raven as well.
i simply refuse any other opinion against this one, i wil not let those two kick-arse characters succumb to starwars plot syndrom.

STAY BACK LUCAS....BACK I SAY......YOU CAN'T HAVE THEM, YOU HEAR ME?.....YOU CAN'T HAVE THEM!!!

The end of Golden Sun: The Lost Age

Yay! The end boss just blew up! I love explosions.

Wait, they're who? Did I just... what?

Portal. It continuously crashed on me, to the point where I didn't finish it for a while. I eventually did, but it made me mad with the constant crashing. I wish I didn't get the PS3 version of The Orange Box.

Viking: Battle for Asgard. What a fun game! Seriously! And then...

Woooooo, final boss! Wait... that's just an unfair number of enemies slicing me up and shoving me into the flames! Stop that, you dicks!
*one hour later*
RAAAAAAAAAAGE!!!
*half an hour later*
Take that! Hah! ... Wait, there IS a final boss fight! ... And it's awful!
*five minutes later*
Well, that was... sadly anticlimactic. Oh well, at least now I get a nifty outro cinematic.
*two minutes later*
RAAAAAAAAAAGE!!! D:<

No More Heroes: finishing the tutorial and walking out into that really bland open world with noting interesting to do in it.

Splinter Cell: Conviction.
The Iraq level.
It turns into bad, stripped down version of Gears of War.

You and me both.

For me, it wasn't a scripted event, but just something out of the ordinary that happened in Fallout 3. I was just running around tanking my way through some Deathclaws. I almost ran out of ammo by the time I wasted the last one, and was feeling pretty good about myself. However, as I did, I got the dialogue box telling me Charon had died. Dismayed, I turned to look at him, to see he had not only been dismembered, but he had been dismembered by TWO Giant Radscorpions. They continued to walk up the hill, and to my sadness, caught up to me and killed me.

MGS2, finishing up the tanker chapter as Snake :D

...and then suddenly starting over at Big Shell, as a guy who sounds like he's enjoyed one too many meat-popsicles in the old poop-chute. D:
Not that there's anything wrong with that...

That part messed up my entire save file when I had it waaay back on the original Xbox.

It really was a fun game, until I got to that part.

OT: I was really excited until I saw this in L4D2: The Passing.

I think I really shed a single tear. It was sad to see that in the game...

This one's kind of obvious but... the ending to Halo 2. What idiot decided it was a good idea to end the game on a climax?
Well it was going to be different but they didn't have enough time to finish the whole campaign.

First time playing Left 4 Dead.

'Wooo zombies! What's that red crying thing OH GOD-'

Yeah...
I take it you didn't watch the intro movie first time round?
Same thing happened to me the first time I met the Tank. "Come on guys he can't be THAT tough"
"Bill has been incapacitated"
D:
the tank is especially angry after you catch him in the bathroom

*walking through long hallway, checks room for painkillers*
*opens door*
"WOAHHHRRROOOOOOOO" *gets smacked halfway across house, out the door, off the porch and into the water*

that literally made me drop my mouth just going "wha....why?!?!"

Thanks for not putting in spoilers I have yet to play that game. This is like coming out of the cinema complaining about Midichlorians with the rest of the people going in not having seen the movie.

The FFX ending pissed me off immensely no closure what so ever.

I suppose Bioshock's been out forever, but
killing Andrew Ryan with a 9 iron even though you have no reason to do so, and he tells you to do it only proving how much of a robot you are.
He did it to make a point that men are free, and that slaves are controlled.
He wanted Jack to choose not to be a slave.

Unfortunately, he failed. Miserably.

Finding out Bridgett from Guilty Gear was a guy.

Why do you think it was called "Guilty Gear"?

OT:For me it would be the end of Episode 2. Right after I convinced myself that it wouldn't happen...
