Is it now a requirement that if you host the Olympic Games, during the Opening Ceremony, you have to have someone get picked up by wires and do crazy flips through the air?

You sure about that?Sassafrass said:Yeah, probably.
Better then watching that person's cables snap and fall face first into the ground.

Same. Unfortunately, thanks to the stupidity of NBC, I will not be able to see the first hockey game between the US and Canada.Lord of Maggots said:I just want Olympic Hockey to start!!! But the opening ceremony was pretty cool.

Instead, NBC will be showing ice dancing
I'm a big Pittsburgh Penguins fan, and since Sidney Crosby and Marc-Andre Fleury are playing for Canada and Brooks Orpik is playing for the US, I was really looking forward to the US/Canada game, so my expression was more the "rage" guy (fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu).guess who said:Your avatar perfectly showcases my expression upon reading your post.presidentjlh said:Same. Even more stunning is NBC is the only major network that ever broadcast hockey to begin with.
Well, even if we're not as big into hockey, it is still a fairly popular sport here. It just angers me that they think ice dancing is a better draw than a clash between two of the great powers in Olympic hockey.guess who said:I'm from Canada so I just assume hockey would be on tv, I know your not as into it down south but I still, ice dancing over hockey, damn.presidentjlh said:I'm a big Pittsburgh Penguins fan, and since Sidney Crosby and Marc-Andre Fleury are playing for Canada and Brooks Orpik is playing for the US, I was really looking forward to the US/Canada game, so my expression was more the "rage" guy (fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu).guess who said:Your avatar perfectly showcases my expression upon reading your post.presidentjlh said:Same.
