You know, none of this matters. We still need to recycle and focus on trying to protect the planet, because sooner or later the figures they apparently 'faked' will be met anyway and we'll be in danger eventually. Even if it isn't for a few generations, rather than now as we thought. We shouldn't get complacent, regardless of the cause.

What I'm saying is that it is worrying that this will damage that, and be used against people who actually care in the future.

Hopefully its not the straw that broke the camels back.

I wonder why they all want to believe so badly that global warming is a huge myth.

Maybe it's because if they admit it, then they will have to do something about it, and seriously Rush Limbaugh doesn't look like he has done anything physical for the past twenty years except eat Twinkies and try in vain to burst that blood vessel in his forehead every time he hears the word liberals.

I despair, sometimes I wonder why fuckcunts are allowed their own news network, and radio shows.

Someone put up a humorous pic of an epic facepalm please.

Someone explain to me!
I don't think it is safe to rely on government to send all hackers to jail and explain to me... What to do, what to do...

I think people have their priorities mixed up. It's not a matter of whether or not global warming is occurring, but who or what's causing it. The fact that we just came out of an ice age about 14,000 years ago may have something to do with it. Other theories actually point to nature being the cause of global warming, rather than mankind. Scientific evidence actually shows that global warming is occurring on other planets within our solar system as well; it is believed that the sun is producing more radiation. I'm sorry to burst the bubbles of all the Liberalists and environmentalists out there...but recycling, solar panels, and hybrid cars aren't going to have an effect on the sun.

Edit: Please, people, don't just take my word for all this information, that's how millions of people were brainwashed into believing that humans caused global warming in the first place. Go and look it up, and then form your own opinion!

Well to start, how 'bout you actually research the topic a little bit rather than relying on the information that the media has been force-feeding you. Google is your friend.

You talk the truth good sire.

Even if it is all a hoax we need alot of these measures anyway before we totally run out of landfill sites and all that. At least until we have colonised the rest of the solar sysytem anyway...

unless we build a massive spacecraft that can go really close to the sun with the right epuipment to either heat it up or cool it down as need and then name it after a character in greek myth that died from flying too close to the sun to give the brave crew a big moral boost...

I don't think we have any real control over this planet what so ever. We are just little creatures living on it's surface and if the Earth is heating up or cooling down then all we can do is dig in and pray.
We survived the ice age with only fur coats and wood so if it really is getting colder, my advice is; keep burning that furnace.

There you go. A bit overused, mind you.

As for the matter at hand, I have to say that everything helpful we try to do can only help us to survive some more years. Maybe. I mean, it's not like we can stop a meteor like the one that annihilated the dinosaurs or something like a gamma ray burst.

Meh, this really hasn't changed my opinion that Man Made Global Warming is possible.

I never believed global warming was caused by humans to begin with (call it what it is, natural climate change), no talk show host had any input in my belief on this, my opinion has not wavered. I still don't believe in man-made global warming, I do however see the incremental steps being placed in front of us leading to a global carbon tax. Believe it, don't believe it, I hardly care. I would bet that once it does happen to you where you live then you're gonna have a reason to be pissed about what might just be a scam.

So true. Plus, the fossil fuels will run out eventually. Just because the climate data "might" be wrong, doesn't mean we should stop working on green alternatives. The sooner my car runs on air, the better.

Thinking about it, we're pretty lucky that the whole "Running out of Fossil Fuels" and Climate Change go hand in hand, because we'd be up shit creek without a cannoe if we as a species had to deal with them seperatley
