Something wrong with MW2 today? 5/22/2010

Several things are going wrong for me with MW2 online today

I joined ground war and was placed in a interventions only low gravity hardcore server. only so much fun for a while. But that was the ONLY server I could join. I quit out and tried to find another ground war and it was a different map and server but same setup again. Interventions only.

So I went to team deathmatch and could only join ONE server with the 7 people whilst there was 5000+ people online. And at least 2 of them were hackers. So much for that.

So I can deal with that but the weirdest just happened. I just prestiged today for the second time. So Im fresh at level one and I quit the server and suddenly Im level 70 with everything unlocked.

Anyone know what they hell is going on? Anyone else getting weird stuff going on today?

I saw my brother playing in a Free For All game earlier today. Basically, it was a never ending game where the scores were frozen at where they were when the hacking started I suppose.

I have no idea what the heck is going on though.

Yeah the interventions only server I ended up in was FFA and never ending too

Yeah this crap has been getting more and more common, which sucks arse cause you cant choose whether or not you get it.. dedicated servers didn't have this problem. anyway doesnt matter to me since i haven't been able to play mw2 for a week or 2 cause its screwed the pooch, and i cant figure out how to fix it.. tho doesnt bother me cause i dont seem to be missing much.

Problems trying to play MW2 online? I never would have thought that could happen... A more serious answer, i've had plenty of problems where i'd keep getting linked to bad servers to the point that the game was basically unplayable. So it goes, I guess.

The only problem I had with MW2 yesterday was that the game kept shutting my controller off for some reason.

What do you mean you could only join one server?

MW2 uses hosts and you don't connect directly to servers.

Ok so this just happened to me AGAIN tonight. Joined some stupid hacked game with snipers only and I quit out and suddenly my level has increased to 70 and Im ready for next prestige. Has this happened to anyone else???

They're challenge lobbies, people usually pay to get in them lol
Mind me asking what platform this is on? i never seem to have problems with hackers just lagg and the usual mw2 bullshit

Your batteries might be running low, try and replace them.

I once got forced into a hacked server where any movable direction save forward had you going super sonic. Fun for a while, but it eventually bores you... and irritates.
