Some stuff from London Calling. Also some non-profane Wyclef, like Guantenemera. (probably spelled wrong)

That is actually one that I was thinking of bringing in soon, but I'm still looking for a bigger selection.
Actually, it would probably be better with the Genesis version, because if you find the video you'll be too busy laughing at it to listen to the lyrics.

Also, does it have to have lyrics? If not, use this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_xF9oQv0R0

'Under the Bridge' by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Great lyrics, no profanity, and an O.K video.

Assassin by Muse, basically about destroying 'Demonocracy'.

Oh and if you want to shock them: Man Gegan Man by Rammstein...

You'll find out what that means... -_*

Shiver - Coldplay
Beautiful song, and it's video appears to just be the band performing. Hold on.
Yep, just them performing. Although the singer is lookin' kinda creepy in front of the mic.

Oh, and this:

Schism by Tool. Hell, any Tool video.
Many songs by Tool would be stealing the scene for quite a while.
No offense, they're a good band, but by looking at one of their albums, about 6 minutes is the minimium time for one of their songs.

Yeah, it would be long, but this guy obviously goes to a public school filled with retarded rap enthusiasts, it seems like he deserves a 10 minute break for some good ol' ambient rock.

Good point. Definitely does need some pretty sweet music there.

Cease by Bad Religion. There's a fan-made music/lyrics video on youtube, if you want a video. There are two versions of the song: A piano and a rock version. I'd suggest you check them both out, as they are both fantastic.
I'd also suggest Are you gonna be my girl by Jet, Maps by Yeah yeah yeahs and Here's your future by The Thermals.

Actually, that's pretty far from the truth. I go to a Catholic school filled with moderately-intelligent rap enthusiasts. I think that they can do with some good rock though.

I've looked at almost every song so far and am not ashamed to say that I didn't know half of them but do now. I've found roughly a dozen songs in this thread that I intend to bring in, and I previously only knew a few of them. Finally, the song should have lyrics, though there's no reason that you shouldn't simply post a good instrumental song for everyone's enjoyment.

In my English class, students are allowed to bring in songs for everyone to listen to every Tuesday. We recently received a Smartboard, so people have been bringing in videos as well.
Well that seems like a waste of class time. Our class wrote a paper on our own "theme song" earlier this year, and we had to present it and play the song, but every Tuesday sounds dumb.

Oh, and I've always found Smartboards to be pretty useless. For what they cost I'd rather see the money go to something that's of more use. They were neat at first, but there's nothing that teachers use them for that can't be done in a much easier and better fashion. I mean, just look at what you're doing with your's, watching music videos once a week. Fuckle-doodle-doo.
Hey! They can make my technologically-deficient German teacher waste 20 minutes or so every class!

Such a great use for money...
