Is there any song that has made you (or almost made you) cry? Mine would have to be Surrender by Billy Talent. A sad love song, with very easy connection to the listener. Cause many has been in that seat. Also, he sings in a very sad tone.

She reads a book from across the street,
Waiting for someone that she'll never meet.
Talk over coffee for an hour or two, She
wonders why I'm always in a good mood.
Killin' time before she struts her stuff,
She needs supporting, I'll become the crutch.
She'll never know how much she means to me.
I play the game but I'm the referee.

Surrender every word, every thought every sound.
Surrender every touch, every smile, every frown.
Surrender all the pain we've endured until now.
Surrender all the hope that I lost you have found.
Surrender yourself to me.

Even though I know what I'm lookin' for,
She's got a brick wall behind her door.
I'd travel time and confess to her,
But I'm afraid she'd shoot the messenger.

Surrender every word, every thought every sound.
Surrender every touch, every smile, every frown.
Surrender all the pain we've endured until now.
Surrender all the hope that I lost you have found.
Surrender yourself to me.

I think I found a flower in a field of weeds,
I think I found a flower in a field of weeds.
Searching until my hands bleed,
This flower don't belong to me.

I think I found a flower in a field of weeds,
I think I found a flower in a field of weeds.
Searching until my hands bleed,
This flower don't belong to me.
This flower don't belong to me.
Why cant she belong to me?

Every word, every thought every sound.
Every touch, every smile, every frown.
All the pain we've endured until now.
All the hope that I lost you have found.

Surrender every word, every thought every sound.
Surrender every touch, every smile, every frown.
Surrender all the pain we've endured until now.
Surrender all the hope that I lost you have found.
(Surrender) I never had the nerve to ask,
(Surrender) has my moment come and passed.
(Surrender) I never had the nerve to ask,
(Surrender) has my moment come and passed.
(Surrender) I never had the nerve to ask,
(Surrender) has my moment come and passed.

(Surrender) I never had the nerve to ask.

Yes it does you evil man.

OT: Wake me up when September Ends - Greenday.

If you know who Billie Joe Armstrong wrote it for, you'll know why.

Summer has come and passed
The innocent can never last
wake me up when September ends

like my father's come to pass
seven years has gone so fast
wake me up when September ends

here comes the rain again
falling from the stars
drenched in my pain again
becoming who we are

as my memory rests
but never forgets what I lost
wake me up when September ends

summer has come and passed
the innocent can never last
wake me up when September ends

ring out the bells again
like we did when spring began
wake me up when September ends

here comes the rain again
falling from the stars
drenched in my pain again
becoming who we are

as my memory rests
but never forgets what I lost
wake me up when September ends

Summer has come and passed
The innocent can never last
wake me up when September ends

like my father's come to pass
twenty years has gone so fast
wake me up when September ends
wake me up when September ends
wake me up when September ends

Yes. Yes it does. Go live in a zoo, you animal. :D

I once played a song in orchestra that always made me tear up. It was Tomaso Albinoni's Adagio in g minor. Hard to play while holding back tears.

For me it was Stabbing Westward- Sometimes it hurts. It was an emotional time in my life anyways. I'll always love that band, minus their most recent album.

"Sometimes It Hurts"

Six o'clock in the morning
My head is ready to explode
I can't believe I made it home alive
I don't remember where I went
Or what I was drinking
And now it's made me sick
And I'm not denying
That I get this way
When I try to get over you
I get this way
When I try to get over you
Sometimes it hurts
So much to lose the one you love
Sometimes it hurts
So much to lose the one you love

I tried so hard to hate you
But it only makes it all worse
I only end up hating myself
And as my hatred grows
So do the lies
It's hard to face the truth sometimes
God I feel so useless
God I hate myself
When I try to get over you
I hate myself
Will I ever get over you

Sometimes it hurts
So much to lose the one you love
Sometimes it hurts
So much to lose the one you love

And after all this time you'd think I'd understand the way you feel
But no
I only think about myself
And it's driving you away
I always knew it would one day

Sometimes it hurts
So much to lose the one you love
Sometimes it hurts
So much to lose the one you love
Sometimes it hurts
So much to lose the one you love
Sometimes it hurts
So much to lose the one you love

So, so you think you can tell
Heaven from hell?
Can you tell a green field
From a cold steel rain?
A smile from a veil?
So you think you can tell.

...

We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl
Year after year
Running over the same old ground
What have we found?
The same old fears
Wish you were here.

Pain. The Johnny Cash version. It may be a cover, but it is just so applicable to his career, and the torment he suffered through.
