Well, I'm usually a stone hearted person, but when this song came on the radio, I started crying. It just touches me in a way since it represents my childhood and how I felt back then.

This only happened once, but the only example I can think of was at my uncle's funeral, when they played "Don't Stop Believin'" by Journey.

That was his favorite song, we listened to it a lot, and it stirred up some memories.

I love this song and listen to it all the time. But I must admit the lyrics are in my opinion too much of 'Shiny Happy (multicultural) People (of various religious faiths and beliefs) holding hands'. But that sort of philosophy fits the era.
OT: I don't cry when listening to songs, they wake strong emotions but I've never found myself as touched or saddened as I can become from films or games.

If it counts when you listen to it at a funeral then I cried like a baby to "Stairway to Heaven".

Mainly film scores make me tear up, if I had to pick a song, probably Gladiator's "Now We Are Free" by Hans Zimmer.

Oh please no.

That's an awful version of an amazing song. Why did they do that? Why?

Firstly, the lyrics make the song. With them taken out, the song's soul is removed.

EDIT: It appears the lyrics do appear, but later into the song. Apologies.

Secondly, a showy guitar solo has no place in that song.

And thirdly, it sounds like it was made in Songsmith. There is just no living up to John Lennon.

That is all.

Anyway, my song is Radiohead's Harry Patch (In Memory Of). Listen to the lyrics for the full heart-rending effect (they're in the description).

"Let It Be" by the Beatles has gotten at least a single tear out of me since my friend's funeral.
