There is one rule for those thread, the song that reminds you of the movie cannot also be in the movie itself, because then it's just like, duh, of course that song reminds you of it, it's in the opening credits or something.

I'll start with Breaking Benjamin's The Great Divide feeling like the perfect song for the movie Interstellar.

The lyrics and tone of the song are just am absolute perfect fit for the movie. "As I open up the sky" fits perfectly for the goal of the plot while "and I'll wait for you" hits just right for the ending of the film.

Long Tall Sally always reminds me of Predator. Even when it's used in other movies like The House with the Clock in its Walls.

A good song will sometimes remind me of a movie that I wish existed. Aerosmith's Dream On would make a good One Piece trailer, for instance.

Not a movie, but this song from Riot Zone would not be out of place in Yu Yu Hakusho. The factory stage in DD II PCE is pretty much any 80s cop or street gang action movie fight/chase scene. Dino Crisis 2 save room is Jurassic Park.

Sabaton's cover of "Twilight of the Thunder God" reminds me of the Thor movies and the fact that neither it nor AC/DC's "Thunderstruck" have ever been in any of them is a travesty.
