Melodramatic title, maybe, but you know what I mean. Lots of people say that they couldn't live in a world without music, which I don't always necessarily understand, but, well, even I have a soft spot in my heart for certain songs. Mind you, I have a very...eclectic taste in music, to put it lightly. oO But, since I moonlight as a guitarist and singer, it often suits the material in my gigs, so, I guess I really couldn't live without them. XD
Anyway, here's the ones that were my automatic reaction. I tried to narrow it down to fifteen or less...Not easy, since I kept thinking of more XD. Anyway:
Adagio (Adapted from Albinoni's Adagio in G Minor) - Amici Forever
We'll Meet Again - Vera Lynn
Bells For Her - Tori Amos
Fever - Eva Cassidy
Ain't No Sunshine - Eva Cassidy (Actually just put all Eva Cassidy songs up there. RIP.)
Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy - The Andrews Sisters
Agnus Dei (Barber's Adagio For Strings) - Trinity College Choir, Cambridge
Diamonds Are Forever - Shirley Bassey
Somewhere Over The Rainbow (London sessions version) - Judy Garland
Cry Me A River - Julie London
Embraceable You - Ella Fitzgerald
Money - Pink Floyd
L.A. Woman - The Doors
Hurt - Nine Inch Nails
Silence (DJ Tiesto Remix) - Delerium ft. Sarah McLachlan
I'm not going to link you to them, but, if you haven't heard them, seriously, check 'em out. =D
So, what songs wouldn't you be able to live with out?
