No, it can't. Two years ago there was no Wii U. But there were PCs five years ago. Besides, Director's Cut is an official thing, Unleashed Project is a work of enthusiasts.
So why not have those enthusiasts take it to Sega and make it official because if not it won't exactly be fair for PC to have all the nice things and consoles have jack nothing in terms of uniqueness.
1. They were posting videos with this stuff on official Sega Forums for like more than a year. It's obvious that Sega doesn't give a damn.
2. There is a way to play Sonic Unleashed levels on consoles. It's called Sonic Unleashed.
3. Remember that one time when enthusiasts remade Streets of Rage? Yeah.
Fair enough Sega didn't respond at all but here's the thing, you want that Deus Ex changes to come to the PC and if it doesn't (most likely won't) then it's going to have to be a deal with it moment just like Sega not listening.
I want DEHR changes to come on all the platforms, not just PC. If there's enough fan demand, SqEnix would do that. Maybe some time after the Wii U release, but nonetheless.
The game is two years old which is why I'm doubting it.
Why not let the Wii U have it's own slice of cake for people that haven't played HR yet but would like to on the U?.
I've seen this happen all too often on here when it comes to Wii U and it goes like this:
"I wish that game came to PC/360/PS3"
Then when it happens the same people go "Oh well there goes any reason for me getting a Wii U"...
The same situation is happening right now and it's not really all that fair if the Wii U gets nothing unique like what they have currently because at the end of the day if it did happen and everyone got the exact same on other platforms people on here will end up saying "they only have that gimmicky pad".
Regardless of Sega not listening if the same happens with Enix then PC sonic will have the extras and the consoles won't and the Wii U will have the nice directors cut and the other platforms won't.
if you give everyone everything exactly the same the end result will always be parroted as "it's much better on pc/plays better/is superior" etc.
EDIT: I'd also like to add that if players wanted to play HR they can on their platforms since the game is playable on them and isn't really broken to a point where it's unplayable, the Wii U version just happens to get that special bit of treatment just like Sonic fans gave the treatment by adding the mod.
