So yes, it really is happening, Sonic Adventure is coming to XBLA and PSN. *Nerdgasm*
Well Years ago that was my first console game I ever had back on the gamecube, when Sonic Team could still be called a good game company without getting made fun of. Well I was planning on doing this bit in a month or so but seeing as I'm sick and the news is out, why not post it now?
Sonic Adventure 1 (And the extended and improved Directors cut) were fantasic games, the levels were varied, the hub world worked well and the cast was small. This was back when the cast was just Sonic, Knucles, Tails, Amy, and Robotnick. For the story though, they added two more playable characters, E-102 (A robot made by Robotnick) and Big the cat.
The good thing was this:
On to Mr. Big, how can you hate Mr. Big? He never really talked, and his campain was all about fishing, Which was kinda cool. (Hard, but a little slower and relaxing)
But the most import thing was this:
The Characters, weren't to badly voiced, but the game made up for it. Thier were plenty of secrets, and minigames, and even little bits were you fly an airplane. Not to mention the experiment/bad guy named Chaos that worked for Robotnick, was very cool, since it had so many different variations. Oh and did I mention that Eggman was just a joke the Sonic characters called Robotnick? Yup, at the beging of the game he says his name is Robotnick. (Not to mention all of the Robotnick bosses were very fun and challenging)
Finally, the music. Yes this main theme for this game is almost as good as the Sat Am opening. And you can tell alot of work was put into it.
And as a cool bonus, at the end of levels as Sonic, you would rescue animals from capsules. (Which could later be used for the crazy addicting Chao garden minigame)
So this game being remastered for live could be possibly be the smartest thing Sega has done in years, what do you all think?
Edit: I have always been a fishing nut, for me I found the Big section kinda fun. (Probably just me)
Oh and as stated on IGN, little downloadable online games seem perfect for the Sonic series.

The Robot died by by the end, so he was only in that game to explain Robotnick's side of things, which was rather neat.

This guy-
Was voice by this guy.
So the next time you rip on Big, your ripping on Duke Nukem.
