Sony Begins Internal PSN Testing

A new blog post from the Sony blog said they have begun testing on an internal server. They also stated that they will probably not release PSN until they are certain in will not be intruded again.

From what I could gather through monitoring Steams 'Estimated Time Remaining' clocks, eight hours of Steam time is roughly equal to two and a half days in the real world. I wonder how that translates to Valve.

But with the rumors flying of an attack coming this weekend, I'm not exactly holding my breath for the PSN to be up anytime soon.

The only good thing about PSN being down is that it's stopped all my Playstation mates banging on about how much better PSN is to LIVE.

Hope it gets put up soon, good lord knows what i'd do with myself if LIVE went down.

Sony got pwned twice by a hacker, subpoena'd, some idiots demanded they be sued, then their stocks went downhill. So I would assume that people bitching at them and trying to sue them/demanding awnsers has slowed them down.

Maybe. I mean, if I was running Sony and got a subpoena over this, I'd starting questioning if the new security is any good since it seems things are only getting worse from your first security being crushed. I'd imagine a subpoena'd be a nice way of knowing that this is still going downhill for you.

If that happens, then Microsoft will stop being an impenetrable wall of security over PSN, and everyone who swapped from PS3 to 360 will need to head on over to the Wii, 'till that gets hacked.

Then it'll look even funnier.
