Well, thats as much down to the games creators as it is MS, Blizzard always made their games Mac friendly, as did a few other companies, but until the Mac got intel chips, it always required that extra bit of coding and "money spent" for a portion of the market that at the time, was relatively little.Indigo_Dingo said:So, Microsoft making over 50% of computer games unable to be played on an Apple OS for years somehow doesn't count?WolfLordAndy said:MS made gaming slightly better and gave you more choice, and get gaming industry more money. Sony are trying to give us less, and making the movie industry make less money!
And I'm really sure a signifigant number of people are going to find that the only way they can watch a movie is to stream it on their 360, and not stream it over their PC for free, or go rent a DVD.
Yes you can stream stuff elsewhere but that isnt what this is about. I personally don't have either a 360 or a PS3, yet I do have Virgin Media, and can watch a movie via that (though its a crappy selection), and how many people have media pcs set up? Or a normal PC wired to their TV. I certainly don't so should I want to stream via PC I have to sit in a cramp area at a desk on a crappy chair. The topic of discussion here is simply about how petty it is for sony to pull the plug on this surely... It's just costing everyone money, and helping no one, not even themselves.
