Sony Bringing Out Ugly Uncharted 3 Controller

It doesn't look *horrible* but I still don't like it. This controller could stay as a release for Japan only. I'll be fine with that.
The Design its self isnt bad, its just the colour. Still If that was sold seperately no one would buy it.
I didn't think it was that bad, until I saw the back of it. Yuk. And that ring just doesn't do it any favours.

Aww c'mon it's not ugly, not that I would buy it seperately, but still, could be alot worse IMO :/
Nobody seems to notice its an old treasure map. Not that it looks good anyway. They should have made it look like some kind of golden treasure instead.
Eh... it isn't really ugly. it's just bland. There isn't anything offensive about it, it's just not going to get you pumped for uncharted 3 (which is what themed controllers are suppose to do?). it's not something to waste money on especially because you could get paints and brushes and do it yourself on your own controller for way cheaper if you wanted to.
It doesn't look awful, it's by no means the best looking controller ever, but I can definitely think of worse...
I quite like the design, but them I'm a cartophile so its right up my alley.

I did think it was bad. Then, after reading this, I looked at the back. Then I saw it to be horrific beyond belief.
It's the third part of a successful series. There's about a million things they could do, and they came to this? Seriously?
Seems like just another shameless money grab that adds nothing of value to the actual game or industry, i can't help but feel the orignal review was heavily biased though, i mean personaly i dont like the idea but if i was going to review it for a magazine or whatever i would have atleast done it in an objective manner.
I don't understand why every contributor on this site feels the need to forcefully shove their opinion into every article they write. What ever happened to just reporting on what happens without having to make pointless quips every second? I mean, what's so hard with just saying "Sony to Release Uncharted Tie-In Controller" and talk about the design and such?
