It was a response to Sony's opting not to release Karma Sutra, not the fact that people wouldn't be able to find others for co-op. I thought it was clear :/

For the rest of us, the Kama Sutra is available in the public domain online and at just about every bookstore and library in the Western world. Reading the book is not as interactive as playing a game, but we've heard that it has a pretty compelling cooperative mode.

I'd actually have liked to have seen this released, mostly because I wanna see which celebrities would willingly endorse this, my money's on George Clooney for one.
But seriously, it's always fun to hear about some of the games that never were and general stories from behind the scenes of the games industry just makes for an interesting read.
