I'm actually going to miss PS Home. The fact that it's shutting down soon isn't really a surprise. Sony basically gave up on it a while ago.

uhh... you know people payed real money for furniture, homes, and outfits for that right? what happens to that?

You can put it into any of your upgrade trees, most players add it to cynicism, forward planning or financial skill. A few will use it to further max out the blind faith skill, but that's only really useful for converting money to XP more efficiently and experienced players mostly consider it under powered.

I see you, too, own a copy of "Adulthood : The Boring-ing" ( published as part of the World of Dimness ).

It's an innovative system - alternatively, instead of receiving benefits you have the option to remove various penalties which are forced on the player during character creation, ie : credit card debt, fiscal irresponsibility, etc. Typical of me, I bucked the trend and took 'Persistent Immaturity.' I've been whittling it down for years now.

Isn't Playstation Home that thing that allowed people to stream weird shit, or straight up pornography? I was considering a PS3 on the down-low... but now that this is no longer a thing, I'll just have to pass.

well, I still have that HDMI cable to my TV. I can just turn on the TV, and the OS will handle the rest...

I got my avatar from a pic I found through Google News. The pic in its entirety probably deserved a de-motivational poster that says "Ceiling Cheetah is watching this guy's male patterned baldness".

As for your On Topic stuff, any nudity that was on PS Home came from what Crackle was showing thanks to Loot TVs. So you can probably still get that stuff from Crackle.com

I remember the hype behind PS Home back in 2006. People thought that it was going to be the best thing ever.

Huh, too bad. Can't say I used Home that much, but it was kinda neat in it's own right.
Guess I should get that last trophy finally.

I'm actually a little saddened by this. Sure Home had a large share of issues but I still think it's a decent concept and I'm actually missing my Xbox Avatar on my PS4.
