:ROFLMAO:
Fox didn't say anything about the xbox hardware just then. he was talking about Ori and Cuphead. two xbox games. nothing about it's hardware
Two games that appear on PC as well. Thus my post in regards to those microsoft titles also being on the PC, which is relevant to the discourse in regards to consoles. Also explaining why Microsoft is further down the radar than they normally would be had they not made the multiplatform commitment.

They also appear on Xbox as well. and Fox clearly prefers playing his Xbox and those games over games on Platstation and Nintendo Platforms
who care's? that they aren't exclusive to Xbox. still can't get them on Platstation and for the most part Nintendo either (cuphead and Ori are slowly being placed on the eshop)

My favourite type of coffee is Greek. I don't like that crappy 'espresso' and 'blend' shit that westerners need to sustain their impotence. I want it made in an ibrik by a 60 year old Armenian with the aroma of old cigarettes.
Ah.... I see you are a man of refined taste buds, brother. Nothing beats drinking good coffee in a war-torn shisha parlour!

Fox's literal 1st post in this entire thread is him saying he is a Sony fan, and makes no mention of Xbox or Microsoft. But we are off topic here, so I'ma leave it at that.

actually his first post in this thread he said

I think all of the console developers have their merits, so it's not like any of them are bad. In fact, I would say I'm a fan of all three, having had at least one console or handheld from each of them at some point or another.

I just tend to lean toward more narrative or art house games, and Sony more or less takes the lead in that area.

You haven't had Greek coffee then. It's second only to chai karak served with fresh cinammon and cardamom. Vietnamese coffee is supposed to be quite good too but it's a few years off before I get to Ho Chi Minh.

Umm actually it's the opening post of the thread and he said....
Over the generations, all three manufacturers have given us great games. I'm curious which manufacturer people feel have contributed the highest quality content.

Personally, I'm a fan of Sony. I found Bloodborne and Demon Souls to be the two best exclusives of their generation. On top of that, Horizon delivered the best open world experience of the year, while The Last of Us gave us a strong narrative driven title unlike what we've seen in the medium. Add Shadow of the Colossus HD and God of War to the mix and, for me, it's a no brainer.
So.....🤷

My vote would also go to Sony. I love my Xbox and it is my primary gaming device but that is because of the controller, not because of their games. Sony has had themselves some stumbles but for the most part, their games are always A+

I really liked Nintendo's 2D stuff but for whatever reason, their 3D stuff just never clicks with me, which cuts out a huge chunk of their library from my wheelhouse.

Microsoft....really doesn't have a whole lot. I got bored of Gears of War at 3, Halo is falling apart and....uh....other stuff they make probably exists.

not at all like your history of liking stuff when there's a fresh "Sony Playstation" stamp on the box?

you said it yourself in this very thread!
Sony because they release the most varied library of games along with having the most new IPs.
I like NEW and varied hence I prefer Sony's output. What other game is like Shadow of the Colossus? What game did Sony ripoff that already existed to make SotC? Whereas your favorite RPG magically became your favorite RPG once "Nintendo" was stamped on the box.

A Million Action Cinematic Movie type games like TLOU, Uncharted and God of War

Wow! Such variation!

Yeah I mean I totally understand. Mario doesn't always have to gather stars, sometimes he gathers moons which we all know is totally different.

Or like when Link fights Ganon, or sometimes a different Ganon.

Or when you set out on an epic adventure to capture pokemon and collect badges from all the best trainers in the country.

Or when Tom Nook give you a different kind of loan with a lower APR.

Or that time Samus fought some aliens that looked a little different than the other aliens.

My personal favorite is when they gathered up a bunch of Nintendo characters and made them fight that one time.

Ico and the last guardian are like SOTC btw LMAO
One's a stealth game, one's a shooter, one's a character action game. Does Nintendo make a stealth game? Funny how you don't point out all the games that don't fit your narrative sorta like FOX news. Just because a game has a story doesn't make it a "movie" game. I need more than just saving the princess and beating Ganon over and over again. What about Xenoblade that has 10+ hours of cutscenes according to the Youtube movies?

Saying ICO and TLG are like SOTC is like saying Mario + Rabbids is like Mario Odyssey. Please point me to any games like ICO, TLG, SOTC made by other developers.

That's the problem with Yoshi's logic and arguments: too superficial and lacking any real weight or evidence. While inflating the pros of Nintendo games like their flawless masterpieces. There is no perfect game no matter the console generation. There's near or almost perfect, but never perfect.
