Error Code: 80710D36

This thread is intended to be a support group for people who still can't log into to Playstation Store.

So anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions on how to fix it if it is not just a network error?

PSN has been up for 1 day. People have been trying to download free games constantly. Give it a week or so before we start making support groups ;)

Sorry, I guess I am just impatient. Been waiting to a mission pack for Dragon Age for a long time now.

Lots of people are having this problem, RelexCryo. However, as Sapient Pearwood said, it's only been up for a very short time. Considering the extensive time it took to get it back up, and how it's supposedly open to the entire nation and beyond, it's safe to assume that it's just an issue of immensely high traffic. Give it some time and I'm sure it'll even out. :D

I've been getting loads of errors, which seems to be due to a sharp increase in traffic. I'll be doing my downloading tomorrow morning, in an attempt to minimise the traffic with which I'm competing.

Heh, I got through to caller support and here is the official deal:

Yes, it is a HUGE amount of traffic. If you really want your stuff right now, you just gotta plow on ahead and X past the errors. That's how it is.

Thanks for the info, much appreciated. I was worried this particular error message meant I might need to change my password again or that I might have some corruption in my firmware or something.

Hngh. I wish that 'power through the errors' method worked for those like me who rely on media Go. =_=;;

Umm i got the original fatboy if it makes any difference and my shits been running pristine since the reboot. Dl'd tons of stuff, games, Rocktracks...i think it froze up between menus once for a second, but hit cancel and went right back to the screen so yea, no problems here.
