The only Vita bundle I've seen, was the Vita and a free MLB game. ... Oh, joy. No memory card and a game I don't like. That'll definitely get my money. -.-''
Yeah it was on Amazon. My friend had JUST bought the thing and then noticed the sale a few days later and told me haha. I snapped it right up :).
Lucky. I would buy it at 250$ if it came with a good game and memory card.

Well if I happen to notice it again I'll send you a message.

And then hopefully Sony will send me a check and a thank you.

Here's hoping.

I think the Vita's biggest problem is kinda exemplified here:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html?ie=UTF8&docId=1000772511

Buy 2 get 1 free. I find it REALLY hard to find a third game I want from that list. I realize it is different strokes for different folks but :/.

Maybe Uncharted and Golf + Lumines? Hard to say...

They just really need to buckle down and release stuff. Even the PSN updates once a lunar cycle, its a shame because I'd be happy to give them money they just never seem to want it :(.

As for the actual hardware this thing is amazing. The OS is beautiful and I really enjoy it. They just really need to buckle down and get actual games.

3DS has the same problem, nice little device, but the game selection is slim pickings.

Like i've said many times, if the dickheads at Sony didn't put their own bullshit propriety memory on their system, maybe they would be getting some bloody sales right now so that game developers actually thought it would be worthwhile making a game for the PSV.

As it stands, though, you can buy a 16gb iPod Touch w/ $10 iTunes/App Store AND a 3DS w/Super Mario 3D + Res Revelations for the same price as a PSV and 16gb memory card.
Yeah, Sony, people will totally buy your useless product with no games instead.

Are Sony making this a thing now?

Is this still the same company that made the PS2?
Apparently (I must've been too young to know) the PS2 had a really shoddy launch. Confusing to design for, no games, maybe to expensive etc.. all the shebang, the difference was that the Xbox launched much later and the gamecube... was the gamecube.
I mean you'd think they would have remembered what DID make the PS2 great was a large library and good third party support. Nintendo certainly has, and Sony DOES have some decent content but they aren't even showing it. If corporations are people, then Sony has Alzheimer's.
To be fair they aren't failing at that with the consoles, but they've always struggled a bit with the handhelds.

Struggling is an interesting word though, considering they've sold more PSP's than 360's or PS3's have been sold.

Although from what I read, the large PS2 library was again more down to the failure of the other two than Sony's success. It was supposed to be awful to make games for at first.

If they do manage to go through a PS3 kinda cycle than the games will eventually start coming, I just don't know why the insist on struggling so much to get to that stage rather than going for a strong start in the first place :D

I still wonder how many PSP's sold on the part that you could mod it to play emulators, rather then on the systems software.
I initially bought the PSP on launch for the promised games, but I've modded it to hell not just for emulators but it's basically become a mini media center. I have a large 32gb memory stick so I convert episodes from my DVDs to watch on the go, read e-books on it, if I'm at a hotspot surf the net/youtube. I used to get skype to work on it, but for some reason it stopped working like a year ago.

I bought a PSP for the games as well... I became underwhelmed and turned my PSP into a music device.

So far, I've only owned a few games for the thing, Dissidia, God of War Chains and Ghost, Star Wars Battlefront, Castlevania Dracula X and SNK classics.

How much is the Vita supposed to cost? On Amazon you can buy the WiFi only version with a memory card and the option to buy a game for £15 for only £199.
