Yes. Sony brings its A-Game to E3. Like Ridge Racer, $599 USD, and Giant Enemy Crabs.

In all seriousness whatever it is has to be something everyone already knows about because the operational security at Sony is laughable, unless all those leaks were to deflect from something else.

...I'm guessing a Crash Bandicoot reboot complete with more ads calling out the competition.

Microsoft needs to step the hell up. Sony is catching up, and damn quick. Christ, I may need to think about buying a PS3 if this shit continues.

hahaha that made me laugh.

OT: I hope its something better than just a sequel theyre announcing. Or maybe theyre gonna tell us that home is going to get 4000 times more in game content and stuff to do so people wont just get bored with after 20 minutes when theyve done everything.

Or they could be announcing that they were just joking about making psn not free anymore. I hope so. Also maybe theyre announcing that theyve stolen alan wake as a ps3 exclusive somehow. that would be funny.

I didn't really keep up with GDC much, so the most I really know from that is The Playstation Move thing which is pretty neat. I'm probably not going to get, though there are some interesting things coming out for it.

So if that's any indication, E3 should definitely be interesting. Last year was pretty memorable, especially when my friend's friend had a nosebleed during the God of War 3 presentation last year (No joke, we were laughing so hard).

Sony will be announcing Halo 4 as a PS3 exclusive. Either that or the new Zelda.

They re-figured out how to do PS2 backward compatibility this time without upping the price? (Honestly though, just go buy a PS2, they're like, 90 bucks)

This would solve a lot of people's 'problem' with buying a PS3. This would be good to dispel the myth it's needed. I mean most people still have a PS2 - I have (and a backwards compatible PS3).

I'm hoping for Team ICO giving us a release date and announcing another game.

E3 better be good considering both Sony and Microsoft have both now said they are saving their best until then...if not, well we'll know who has been bullshitting....
Personally I think E3 has become a joke compared to what it once was. Nowadays we have things like the GDC and PAX to serve as important cons and E3 in its zombified, splintered state just isn't as important anymore. That said if some genuinely interesting things can be displayed at E3, so much the better.

"We're bringing the heat..."

Jesus Christ... *face palm*

Sony's CEO is worth quite a few dollars (we're talking more than $10 here), why can't he hire a writer to give him half way decent metaphors and junk?

Just got a survey about resistance 3... Actually asking people who played resistance their opinions and thoughts about the series compared to other games (mainly shoots) available currently on the PS3. If people answer honestly and they bother to read any of the feedback resistance 3 could be a step forward for the series.
