According to Eurogamer [http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2013-01-18-sony-to-drop-dualshock-for-the-next-playstation-report] Sony will be dropping the dual shock controller for one with an "LCD touch screen & biometrics" seems odd to be including biometrics, the usual swipe and waggle sticks and motion controllers are frustrating enough.

No pictures of this alleged controller yet though.

Seems pointless to me. What they would be better off doing, if they're going to do that at all, is integrating the Vita as a control option. Or at least let a player use the Vita as an alternate controller instead of essentially making the PS4 controller into what's essentially a Vita anyways.

GIMMICKS AHOY!!

Well, in all seriousness, if games aren't required to shoehorn said gimmicks into every PS4 release then it could be alright. Sony better be ready to offer a classic controller variant as well though. For their sake.
