If they give you a store credit, it would cost them money for you purchase. Instead, they decided to give you 1st party games so they don't have to pay any developers. Also, they are probably using this as a promotion instead of a sincere welcome back. They gave older games in hopes that you will buy the sequel to it.Pig Mazurka said:... I would still MUCH rather have store credit, and there hasn't been a good reason given as to why they wouldn't do that.
Better than my situation. PSN ate both of mine. I now have no selections. I'm fucking livid.Buccura said:Not sure but I think an error caused PSN to think I already picked my first game when I didn't so now I'm left with only one.
Yeah, I did. Still a little weird to navigate.Sinclose said:You can still get them.Snake Plissken said:Better than my situation. PSN ate both of mine. I now have no selections. Go here:
Make sure to complete the download of each title all the way otherwise you?ll have to go into account management>transaction management>services list>SCEA Promotions to download the games.
Hope that helps.
This should lead you right back to the selection screen for the free games in order to use your 'activation coupon', or whatever it's called.
You are correct on your initial assumption. You can obtain the games even without a PSP. Hell, if you plan on getting the NGP, you can play them on that.beema said:I think I'll wait a week to download anything so there is actually some bandwidth available. I imagine everyone is trying to access it at once right now and it's barely chugging along.
So... can I download the PSP games even if I don't have a PSP, in case I get one in the future? Or is that just out of the question?
Hey, thanks for that warning. That helped out a lot. I was kinda panicking there for a moment. Thanks Tom!Tom Goldman said:As a word of warning, the PlayStation Store appears to be experiencing errors as of this writing. I personally downloaded the tokens, it didn't let me download the games, and then the tokens were gone. However, customer support reveals that anyone this happens to should go to the XMB --> Account Management --> Transaction Management --> Service List --> SCEA Promotions (or your associated region). Then choose the token and download the content. Unfortunately, even that method isn't perfect at this time, as Sony's servers may be overloaded.
