Sooo.... What is it about Metroid Other M?

from a game play stand point Other M is top shelf, camera could have been a better team player in 1 or 2 spots, but over all, game plays wise its a good choice

story wise: less so, it was a bit of a mixed bag for me
'samus running into the lava zone w/o the Varia' was, from the story's stand point retarded (game play wise, good challenge run), there where other moments that struck me as stupid to, her freezing up at the showdown with Ridly, even removing the 'non-canon' Prime series she's beat him twice, and Adam shooting her, his limp explanation never sat well with me

don't misunder stand, yes, i thought of Samus as a badass, but at the same time i knew she'd have some baggage, if she didn't it would've surprised me, what i don't like how they went about bring that part of her out, it dose make her seem like a much weaker person then she should be at that point in her life

MovieBob's rebuttal about Other M is the best argument I've seen in favour of Other M, but I still disagree completely.

And really, him calling Metroid Prime 'another first person shooter' is practically a sin in my eyes.

You should see The Gaming Brit ripping on Movie Bob video. He does a better job at pointing out the real flaws of the game.

But in true honesty, Movie Bob review felt like he based his claims in the same way as someone that watches the first 2 pages of a forum and assumes that all the Metroid fans as those people. He let the outside world mold his opinions on a game that should have been evaluated on his own merits FIRST and THEN the problems that only a FAN would find. I dont see how "Strong Independent Woman CANT NEVER takes order of a MAN" was something that even a human being could say
