Soooo... Apps?

I dare say many of, if not most of, the people on this site have some sort of smartphone, iPod, Android, Blackberry, etc... So I've recently joined that crowd, buying my first iPod, the new iPod Touch (4th Gen.) a couple of months ago. And until now I've barely downloaded any apps, using it mainly for internet access on the go and for listening to music. But it's coming time now that I want more from my iPod. I've bought it, paid for it, and used it so little in the time I've had it. So yesterday I went on a spree, downloading a bunch of music and art apps that I liked the look of, and an app for teaching me to write in Japanese, just the basics, as I would love to learn Japanese as a language.

So, the point of this thread, therefore, is in two parts. First, what apps do you have (on anything, whether it be Apple or not)? And secondly, what apps would you reommend I download? Please bear in mind that they have to be available on the Apple app store, and they must be either free or very cheap (like, less than a pound)...

The only App I use a lot is Daily Comix. Love me some online comics.

I rather like solitaire and mah-jong on my iPod Touch. Flashlight is probably my most useful app--it will pull up a completely white screen, which turns it into a perfect flashlight. And I can also change the color or make it blink, so I can use it to signal people around me if necessary Finding friends in the theater has never been so easy.

Yeah, I haven't got solitaire or anything, but I do have a draughts game. Along with a really addictive little game called 'Coin Dozer', which is like a simulation of those tuppence machines you get at old-timey arcades and on seaside piers and stuff

I've got an Android phone, so most of my stuff is free. That being said, the apps I have include Facebook, Twitter, email (Google and other accounts), London tube map and live status, RSS feed reader, complete works of Shakespeare, weather, MixZing music player, and assorted games.
