I've got all three new weps now and I love them all. Mini sentry is the cutest thing ever. And be able to aim you sentry some you can hit people out of the sentries normal range is very helpful. And the shotgun is great for getting revenge.... muhhahaha!!!
I do find all the engineers really annoying, but on another point:
People shouldn't get annoyed at valve for providing loads of content for free, (hats, class updates, maps)that's great customer service and shows they are dedicated to the fanbase.
Compare this to, for example, Modern Warfare 2 map packs, where players are expected to shell out around £15 for 3 maps and nothing more, no new weapons, no skins/character models, etc.
People complain that valve are bastards and ruining the game but what other company gives you this much for free?

Why is everyone complaining about the wrangler? If your using it, it leaves you open, if you get killed, then the sentry goes offline for 3 sec, which is all your teammates need. it actually makes the spy's job a lot easier.

I have the Frontier Justice, the Southern Justice and the Gunslinger so far, and I don't really care for any of them. FJ lacks the ammo I've come to rely on when defending myself, the southern justice is an overall downgrade (so you make them bleed, big whoop) and the gunslinger.. I dunno, the mini sentry is far too fragile to be worth much to me, and I've learned to blow through them as all the classes with relatively little loss of health. The wrangler seems slightly overpowered in regards to the shield and double firepower, which means that a level 2 sentry can breeze through a heavy where it would most likely go down before. It also enables engineer sniping, which is stupid.
I like the new update, though. I like the new achievements, the look and feel of the new weapons, and while I am sick and tired of the people exploiting to get a lvl 3 mini sentry I think it'll ultimately end up being a good addition to the game. Mainly, I think people will get bored with the unlocks within two weeks, and stuff like the mini sentry will go the way of the Scottish Resistance.

Sandvich heavys were not overpowered, they were peaceful creatures just attempting to picnic and nom happily whilst the lesser unhatted folk squabbled around them.Stoic raptor said:

I feel like the Gunslinger could've been, well...more creative. Granted, I haven't finished d/ling the patch for the update yet (stupid WiFi), but it just looks like the Engineer getting a slightly modified version of the Heavy's fists at the cost of dropping weaker Sentries (bug not included). It could've been a new weapon slot for the Pistol that would vie for the place of the Wrangler, seeing as the pistol only has a cosmetic counterpart and not one that functions differently.
I also feel that putting in three new payload maps was a bit of an "okay, enough already" moment for me. There's no need to drop three of the same kind of map down, especially when two look so similar in terms of concept.
But whatever. Engineer isn't my class of choice. I'll get the new weapons, and then promptly forget about them, like every other weapon that I get.

I like the simple fact you can now move the sentry turrets after construction and the new wrench "The Southern Hospitality" is wicked awesome looking. All and all, pleased with the update.
Haven't got any of the new stuff yet because everyone's going Engineer and I take more pleasure in doing this:
it is awesome, I have the frontier justice and the wrangler, and they are awesome. Idon't like the look of the glove though, but would be fun to act as a power fist

I had like a 16 or so kill streak with my sentry last night,it got destroyed and I had like 40 something revenge crits, I got up to a 35 kill streak with it. It is just insane how you can just wipe people out with a huge number of revenge crits.

The wrangler is ok, but too many engies sit in the protected spawn and have the wrangler under their control and just light up anyone that comes close to it, pretty damn hard to be a spy.
