I have just watched The disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya.
Wow.

Its definitely in my top 5 movies.And I've seen most studio ghiblis.

So I was just wondering, anyone else who's seen it, what did you think?

Probably best to not have it. I'm sure you can't find it on youtube though....

Ooookay, so first of all you might want to get rid of that video link right away. I'm fairly certain it's copyrighted, meaning that user on Youtube doesn't have the rights to be showing it, meaning it's pirated. So if you don't want to get banned, get rid of that before the mods do it for you, because the Escapist does not allow pirated stuff to be circulated on its forums.

Secondly, I really do need to watch Haruhi. I've heard so many good things about it, and I've been told that because I love Toradora I should love Haruhi. My boyfriend was going to lend his collection to me, but then we broke up. We're still on good terms, though, so hopefully when the semester starts back up I can remind him.

What's Toradora?

Toradora is a great "slice of life" anime. It is a high school romance, but a damn good one. The best I've ever seen. The characters are entertaining and interesting all at the same time, and don't follow the typical romance archetypes. They all have their own stories, arcs, and quirks. They're actually believable characters, and all awesome in their own ways. It's very well paced, and the ending is very satisfying I highly recommend it. There's not an episode that's wasted.
