So, I just finished watching the entire series of Soul Eater the Anime, and I was supremely impressed espiecally considering it was an ending that i was'nt let down by. From episode 1 the cutesy, nightmare + blood theme really interested me, it was definitely something that exsists in an incoherent and delirious world, so you never ask "does that make sense?", which frees you up to just enjoy everything that happens, most notably the fight scenes, also it never takes itself too seriously but never goes "hey look at this, is'nt this wacky, yuk yuk yuk" (whish is kinda common in alot of anime, I think). The characters are all unique in design, well the whole show is unique in design, closet thing I could describe it is "nightmare before christmas" with more colors than just grayscale and no gay hot topic tie-in. All in all probly one of my new favorite series.

the first two have kinda of a cromartie high feel about them, the third one has a neat fight in it, and there is never a person dressed in a animal suit (not that you said that, but it is kinda a stupid reaccuring theme in anime). so, i dunno, i'll half way agree with you.DistinctlyBenign said:

Although the show did always look interesting, which is a lot coming from someone who couldn't even tell the difference between [insert anime] and [insert anime]. DVDs are expensive, though.

I didnt watch the Anime, i read the Manga and am dissapointed that i read through all that is there, and im not sure if there is more or the site just stopped putting them up there...
