Soul Silver

I just picked up Soul Silver again after a while and I have NO CLUE what to do now... Have any of you had this problem?

Well first check your trainer card, see how many badges you have.

After that we can start working out where you are in the game and what to do next.

Not with SoulSilver but I have had that problem with other pokemon games. But yeah where are you and how many badges do you have, that should help a lot.

I've recently started playing Soul Silver, but I haven't had this problem yet.

Though I have dealt with it during Final Fantasy I & II and other similar games...

i found the games quite streight forward, but i suppose i remembered a lot from just gold and silver version lol

lol. I've done that once or twice. I haven't played Heart Gold in so many months, that I'll have no idea what to do, or where I was, if I ever play it again.

I've had this in Golden Sun, probably some other games as well.

There are always people around that give you hints as to what you should do, so figuring it out can't be that hard.

Gold/Silver has always been pretty straight-forward. Personally speaking, I think Hoenn is the only generation where the path of progression wasn't ultimately so, but that's because its layout of the region is probably the most confusing out of them all.

Not with that particular game, but certainly with something like Final Fantasy. If I've geared up a very specific party at a story-intensive part of the game and I leave for a few months, I've forgotten everything when I get back. I usually just restart.

Well fortunately, there is a magical thing called the Internet and there are even more bizarre things as web searching engines. And even you might find some obscure "web-sites" like gamefaqs.com that offer "walk-throughs" free of charge.

I don't understand... what is this "internet" you speak of?! I mostly play my ds when on the go so I can't check gamefaqs.

Never had this issue with a Pokemon game. Check your trainer card and location, and try and figure it out from there.

I have on other games that I left sitting for half a year. Hard to remember what is going on after such a long break.
