So, I was mildly excited about Steam for Mac. I downloaded Portal for free, yay! But it runs extremely poorly in OS X. It runs fine in Windows on the same machine.
Did Valve cheap out and only port over the Source engine with software rendering instead of a fully-featured OpenGL renderer, or am I having an isolated issue with my MacBook?
Edit: Nevermind, it runs fine now. For some reason, though it ran like crap even with resolutions down to 800x600. Stupid Macs.
