Now, yes, I know this question is a lot more fitting for the Steam Forums, but I don't want to join there again. So, I'll ask it here in the off chance a Source SDK modder happens to come to this thread. Here goes:
I recently got my computer upgraded and reinstalled the VALVe games I had (TF2, Half-Life 2, Episode 1, 2 and Portal) and, afterwards, I installed Source SDK so I could make maps. Well, then came the Autumn Sale, which was determined to nickel-and-dime me to death! (My library is now huge. XD ). Since I had never played Counter-Strike: Source before, I decided to buy it. However, no matter what I do, it WILL NOT show up as a game I can mod! >:0
I've refreshed the SDK game content, installed Source SDK Base 2006 and 2007, uninstalled Source SDK, reinstalled it and then refreshed the game content ... nothing. Source SDK refuses to acknowledge that I can mod Counter-Strike: Source.
I really need some help with this. I have a great idea for a CS:S map and I want to be able to make it. Thanks for helping!
EDIT: Hey, this is my 777th post!
