Space Marine: Demo

I just finished the first level of the demo. I'm SO pumped for the full game.

The combat mechanics are reminiscent of Batman Arkham Asylum, with the overlying feel of gore and excessive violence that is native to the Warhammer Universe.

Decent voice acting, meh-ish graphics though.


But still, fear the bolt pistol and chainsword, for they will wreck your shit.


Edit: just tried out the jump-pack mission as well. It makes rocket jumping in TF2 seem like a bouncy-castle. They've managed to capture the visceral nature of assault troops, like many will have seen from DoW 1 and 2, and give the player a hell of an experience =D

I'm not sure if your pre-order is included into early access for that demo. It only talks about Steam and the Honour Guard package.

Did they manage to capture the epic scope of the 40K universe?
