This... it not a good start. So I recognize that having a great single player is awesome and I loved the campaign for Space Marine. The thing is, the main reason I bought it was because I loved the idea of the Multiplayer. You know, pitting a squad of marines against thier traitor counter parts and duking it out over area control or just plain murdering everything in sight. Imagine my dismay when I find out that the Multiplayer for the PS3, ostensibly the best looking version of the game assuming you don't have a PC that resembles HAL on steroids because you don't have 2000 US to blow on it, simply doesn't work.
It sits there and tries to find a game ad nauseum I got this on release day and played most of the way through the campaign. Figuring I'd give the Multiplayer a bit of a leg up since I doubted there would be a massive plethora of people online right away I didn't get on Multiplayer til day 3, figuring that was enough time. Now I find that the PS3 version has a universal issue of not fucking working.
So my question is this. I am not particularly tech-savvy in the PS3 arena, I know the rites and incantations to the machine god that gets my hunk-of-comp running but the PS3 is out of my area of expertise. So is there a way to fix it? Because as far as I can tell despite the massive amounts of complaints on the www.Spacemarine.com forums, THQ and Relic have yet to act.
