So, folks, I found this little gem while browsing through older Zachtronics stuff. It's a puzzle game that will both challenge your brain and teach you something about chemistry, though nothing really in-depth. In fact, you're more likely to improve your programming skills.

From the page itself:
Zachtronics Industries is back with an ambitious new design-based puzzle game. Take on the role of a Reactor Engineer working for SpaceChem, the leading chemical synthesizer for frontier colonies. Construct elaborate factories to transform raw materials into valuable chemical products! Streamline your designs to meet production quotas and survive encounters with the sinister threats that plague SpaceChem.

So,go check it out [http://www.spacechemthegame.com], absolutely worth your time.

I do have a gripe with the game. It has this excellently simple concept underneath it that scales up nicely. But at the price tag of $20 I'd want the game to last more than the 50 challenges in it. I wonder why the dev hasn't included a procedurally generated challenge mode. I'll probably buy it anyway, someday.
