Is it just me, or are the boxes with letters getting harder and harder to read? I'm referring to the ones that usually pop up when you try to create an account on a website. Recently I've noticed the letters/numbers getting smaller, more distorted and harder to discern from the background.

Have any of you noticed this, or am I just crazy?

I hate those things so much but they do cut down the spam. Well depends on the site really. Like the google ones are never hard for me to read

CAPTCHA has that funky voice method too but every time voice tells you something like he in a tin can using a microphone made out of ham sandwich. Also the letters are so F'd up I gave up registering page once bacause of it.

Damn, I can't find that comic about CAPTCHA's...
Get back to me on that one, sounds interesting.

Oh, and by far the worst offender is the Steam Forum version. You have to fill out one of these every single time you want to search, and if you guess wrong, the fields are reset.

Is like that to try and fool voice recognition software and are getting harder because people are making better spam bots what can decipher it. Not that hard to read as if can't just refresh it and get a new one as I shudder to think of the alternative if didn't exist.
